Unfortunately, it seems i have a problem with my seat
As soon as I came back from holidays, I've noticed that in both sides the front seat was starting to split (tear), in the point where it touches the petrol tank. It's not big only about 1cm one each side, but I believe it's going to get worse.
As I had to do a service as well, I've told my dealer about it and he said that it shouldn't have happened, and that he was going to put a warranty claim for it.
I found out last Saturday, that Aprilia had rejected the claim because the seat is covered only for 4000 km (???), although the bike is covered for two years. He was trying to argue that how is that the seat is not a part of the bike after 4000km?
Anyway, he gave me a phone number, for me to try and persuade Aprilia that is a reasonable claim !!
I will let you know what happens, although if he didn't manage to persuade them, I cannot see any reason why I would be able to
Had any of you had a similar experience?
Any suggestions?
P.S. Apparently I will have to speak to someone in Milan, so that would be interesting...
P.S2 I will try and get a picture, but at the moment I've lend my camera to a friend for a while
Seat problem :-(

LATEST NEWS:
I'm getting ready for a game of ping-pong (between my dealer and Aprilia Customer Services)
I've just managed to find some time to call Aprilia Customer Services, and they say it's up to the dealer to put another claim, and then probably wait for it to be rejected as well since the Warranty department is very strict with the tables for 'wear and tear of components'.
The only thing is that my dealer gave me their phone in the first place to try and explain about the claim.
Very disappointed at the moment
