a visit to Italia !!

My wife and I are coming to visit Italy in late June!

We will be near Firenze on the 22nd and will be there for a week.

any " non tourist" locations that we should see? eating and drinking spots are welcome!

Where on the east coast in Toscana should we visit?

Welcome Elmosisu,
in one week only, you have to select the places to visit. You will be there with a motorbyke, car or what?
Anyway, Firenze will take at least 2 days, then going to east coast you can visit Pisa, Torre del lago Puccini and Viareggio and down to the coast: Populonia, Isola d'elba, Follonica and you have finished the week.
If you are with a motorbyke, after Firenze, I suggest you to spend your time in Siena area .

Don't forget to visit Rome for at least one day of your trip, it's not far from Tuscany and it's amazing and not to be missed 8)
