Good news at last, I have got my caponord back. :party2:

It's performing realy well and is like having a new bike. It feels a lot smoother and more controlable. Lets hope the ECU unit last more than 12 months this time.
Thanks to all of you who answered my cry for help, once again let me say it is nice to know there is a forum where Aprilia owners can comunicate and get to exchange idears.
Keep up the good work.

Andrew
Ciao Andrew,

glad to know everything is fixed! :tutticontenti:
i hope there the weather is better than here, so you can enjoy your Capy... here in the NE the forecast for the week end is still bad... :-(

You're right, forums are a really a powerful instrument to obtain help and good suggestions... so advertise our site :ridi:

But remember, as soon you're driving in Italy or we're driving over there, you owe us at least a :birra:

Dear Carlo,

Thanks for your good wishes.
Sorry for not replying sooner but I have been too busy riding my bike, which is still running well. I have just returned from a tour, in England, of the Derbyshire Peak District/Lake District/Yorkshire Dales a three day trip that covered 681 miles (1096 Km). Everything worked Very well and the Caponord realy excelled when compaired to the other 10 bikes I was with.
I would love to ride to Italy some time but it will not be this year.
A friend of mine has an old Pegaso but I have not see another Caponord round here for months what we need in Cambridge is a good Aprilia agent, at present this is virtually a one bike-shop town( neerest agent 20 miles)

Best wishes

Andrew

This is a test to see if I can get my name on a message and NOT 'guest'.
