Hi foreign people!!!

Hello to you all, my name is Erwin and live in Antwerp in Belgium. My silver Capo is my trusted companion since 05/2002 and never left me standing somewhere for 18000 km now. Normaly I follow the conversations at the Yahoo-forum (English) But I think this initiative in Italy is worth suporting. My English is terrible but my Italian is 0. I love the north of Italy (the Alps) to drive my bike. We in the north had a meeting last year in april and managed to get a line-up of seven Capo's. Hope to get even more people together this year. We are planning to get together somewhere in the center of the Netherlands in the weekend of 24-25/04/2004.

Hi, my name is Claes and I am from sweden. I started of my bike carer with a Suzuki DR650 6 years ago. Diskowered it was to slow fro my tripps otherwise OK. Changed to the new BMW 650 GS but that was a real disapointment. Ehe engin felt powerless and the wheels did not line upp and att one point it was imposible to start. Under tha 8 month I hade it, it came two letters for serius service orders, on brakes and on electrics. That made my test Caponord! Waw, I just said I hade to change. So I bougt a blou one 2002 and hade a deal to change to a red one next year wich I did. No problems what so ever with them. The first one I used for 8000km and the red one I have used for 7000km.
It is wounderful to drive. But there is two things I miss, heated handels and ABS brakes. I know that there is possible to order that with new bikes. I have traveled three times from Stockholm to Isle of Man and once from Stockholm to Baden Baden and back.

Regarding heated grips, the OEM ones are not yet available, but you can find some pictures here: http://www.etv1000.com/index.php?name=P ... t=manopole

and the relevant link for the supplier. Several of our fellows had mounted them, and they’re satisfied. You have also the chance to find them at a discounted price on eBay…

For the ABS, I think you’re aware that starting with M.Y.2004 is available but I don’t know about the possibility to retrofit an old one…

I see what I can do about telling you about my tripps. Unfortunally not yet any fotos.
There is a very slow respons from my dealer over spear parts. Do you now if its a Aprilia problem and whay?

I know : in Aprilia there are a new manager for spear parts.
A lot of people asks more speed to receive the parts.
They are working to solve this problem.
