Broken quick connector - swelling O-ring

i am wondering whether someone in Italy experienced swelling of the O-ring in the quick connectors of the fuel tank. This has been reported several times in the Apriliaforum and Yahoo forum. To my opinion it could have to do with the fuel quality (composition).
The solution seems to be replacement by a Viton O-ring.
Do you know someone had to do this ?
What is the kind of O-ring installed in new Capo's?

Ciao Filip,
I've replaced my quick plastic connector of the tank (the male one) with the metal one after 40.000 km (almost two years) just for precaution because making some service someone experienced damage of it, but the O-ring was pretty ok, without swelling...
From where are you posting?
