Would anyone know if it's possible to switch to Celcius (C) from Farenheit (F)?
In the manual it says that :
"C/F is set and fixed by aprilia in the vehicle production phase, according to the country of destination. This setting cannot be modified successively."
I don't really mind about the miles/kilometres, but C/F!!
They even started to use C here in England the last few years!!
Would a different sensor perhaps work?

Thanks Attila,
When you say the dashboard, is that for the whole thing, or could it be only the right hand side that displays only the temperature and the fuel?
Sorry for the stupid question, but the bike is too new and I haven't got the chance to find out if it's one piece at the back of the dashboard or not !

first of all I wish you don't have the need to discover if it's one or few parts...Makis ha scritto:Thanks Attila,

Ha ha
Absolutely!!!
Thanks for your wish....
By the way do you live in North Italy?
There is a big possibility that on the 15th of August I will meet a friend either in Venezia or Trieste, so maybe we could meet and I can say thanks (grazie)
I could always bring some of our English weather with me
It's been terrible today!!!
Strong winds, loads of rain and cold (10oC - i wouldn't know in Farenheit ).

Ciao makis,
sometimes I miss some threads...
let me know if you'll come to Italy...
I live in the NE part of Italy, near Dolomiti mountains... about 90 km far from Venice.
About the weather, keep it in UK, thanks... , this year we're pretty fed up with the rain!
So bring with you sun... the middle of August should also be my vacation time...
Going back to the dashboard, I've finally got the "official" answer:
it is factory configured, and there is no possibility to change it, especially because it would be re-inizialized and you'll get as a final result the zeroing of the total mileage made...

But I think I have to learn to live with Farenheit
Thanks for your help anyway

My friend got the tickets for the ferry yesterday so he'll be in Venezia (yeah maybe I'll see you Ivan!!!) on the 15th of August.
I'll either meet him there or somewhere in Austria, as we're planning to go to Austria and Czech Republic.
We're back in Italy on the 26th probably as he's going back on the 27th, and I'll have to be back here on the 29th.
So if you are around maybe we could arrange something !!!
By way any info or suggestions about Austria or Czech Republic, by you or anyone else, are most certainly welcome
