Chain Oiler

I don't know if anyone has tried to use an automatic chain oiler and what you think about it, but I've been using one for the last 8 years in all the bikes I had.
It's the first thing I do every time I get a new bike, and I think it's great.
No worries about cleaning the chain, or lubricating it for 4000-5000 km, and the chain usually lasts twice as long.
There is some information for whoever is interested in :
http://www.scottoiler.com/
And this one is only for Aprilias (and Caponords), I didn't have any problems with my Pegaso:

Thought I'll let you know about it.
Glad to hear any opinions..

Ciao Makis,
just for my curiosity, what do you mean for it lasts twice as long?
with standard chain maintenance and lubrication, I've changed my chain, sprocket and pinion at 38.000 km...

Ciao Attila,
It's all relative, isn't it?
I don't know if the Capo is easier on the chain than the Pegaso or not, but on my Pegaso I don't think that my chain and sprockets lasted that long.
Without looking at any receipts or papers, i think that the last time i've changed the chain (for the second time) my Pegaso had 40,000Km on the clock, and now at 82,000 km the chain is as good as new.
I could try and find out exactly how many km my chain lasted on the Pegaso, or better maybe find out how many it's going to last in the Caponord

There's a chance I'll be coming to Italy in August, so maybe you can see it
But even if it doesn't last as much , I think i prefer only to fill it with oil and forget about cleaning and spraying.
Lazy maybe??
So did you write the previous comment?
What does "Stefanob" think about it?
Is it a Scottoiler, Chaintec or some other brand?

Hello,
you could also have a look at
http://www.pro-oiler.com
I have it on the Capo since a few months now and am satisfied with it. Adjusting is very easy as electronically controlled.

Hi jabs
I have used CLS chain lub system and that woeks perfectly. In that system you just adjust base setitngs and thats it system is working just with gravity and only thing what you do is when raining or speeding over 120 km/h turn 1-12 switch. System have just one magnetic valve and you just adjust opening time and frequence. I have done 16000 km and used 0,05l oil and chain is all the time well lubricated.
