RR Recall?

Hi,

I think that I've read in the other forums that there was a recall in some RRs, because of a problem in the front disks-forks?

Can somebody confirm this?
Could it be possible to have some more information?

I believe that Alex wrote that the recall depends on the chassis last 3 digits.
If I understood well mine should be included as well as my last 3 digits are: 068.

I haven't had any letter from Aprilia or my dealer but if somebody can possibly translate what Alex wrote so I know, then I will get in touch with my dealer.

Hi Makis
In brief Alex wrote that the reason for the recall is in a component of dumping system of the forks: after a full scale diving the forks could stay there (no back in normal position)

Your RR is included in the recall.

I try to ask Alex if he has some official letter.

Makis,

as Paolo told you, Alex is giving us additional info... but as specified HERE it seems that the involved bikes are the ones with the frame number between 001 and 388 (last 3 digits)...
check out yours...
and double check the related "post" for additional info... we know you're familiar with Italian

Unfortunately it seems it affects my bike as i have 068...
I'll get in touch with my dealer..

Could it be that it only affects the RR for the Italian market and not for the UK?
Any ideas?

If it does affect the uk bikes as well, what's the best way to avoid it?
