Passing through Italy on the way to Greece

Messaggio da Makis »

I have managed to finalise my plans for my trip to Greece this summer, so if anyone is around the places I'll be staying in Italy it would be great to meet. :-)

13th August.
Leaving from Calais with destination somewhere in South Germany-West Austria-North Italy.
I'll be going through Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Austria.
I will be aiming to stay overnight somewhere close to Nesselwang(D), Reutte (A).

14 August.
Taking B180 to enter Italy, then SS40, SS38 Bolzano SS12, A22, Modena, A14 Bologna towards Ancona.
Planning to stay overnight somewhere after Bologna.

15 August.
Taking the ferry from Ancona in the afternoon.

If anyone is around and wants to meet up, let me know :-)

close to Bolzano You can ride a lot of very very nice paths.
take a look at Passo Rombo ;)
Keep your life simple. Try not to take what you don't need.
Think about your freedom. Dream a little every day.
Suddenly you'll find yourself there.
Follow me. Walk this way.

Hi Makis,
unfortunately I still haven't planned my holidays, so I can't give you any certitude I'll be at home that day...
of course, if I'll be, as I previously said it will be nice to meet you when you'll be around Bologna... and it'll be a pleasure for me taking you (and your passenger, if not alone) to eat "tortellini"...

Makis,

13th and14th of August I'll have a summer 4 vs 4 basketball tournament, so quite surely I haven't the chance to meet you...

But let us know also your trip back plans, so maybe...

Ivan, "tortellini"? Lambrusco? I'm already hungry!!! slurp!

;-)

Attilio, I'm posting here 'cause maybe also Makis is interested...
There are not only "tortellini", but also "tagliatelle con ragù" and Sangiovese... and maybe, next spring, well mixed with some bends up and down Appennini, onto Muraglione, Raticosa, Futa, Giogo a.s.o.
not so beautiful as Alpi, but not so bad...

Grazie Bluenight,
I'll send you my mobile number before I go, just in case you are around.
I'll be travelling alone this year. My wife is already in Greece.
Tortellini (as all the different types you have) sounds and tastes great ! :ok1:

Ciao Attila.
Hope you come top on your tournament :champion:
I'll probably be playing something called 'Nike Midnight Madness' this Friday.
It's supposed to be games from 8 pm till 6 am :-0

I'll let you know next week about it.
For the return trip I won't have so much time.
I'm taking the ferry from Greece on 1st of September at 11.30pm, getting to Ancona next day in the morning and try to do about 500-600 km north of Ancona. Then next day the 3rd of September I'll have to be at Calais in the evening.

They all sound nice, and I'm pretty sure they taste even better :clapclap:

wow!

It looks like a Reebok 3vs3 we had almost 10 years ago in Udine... it started earlier but finished round 4 am.
We lost against a team that had just drunk less biers than us around 1 am

and so :birra: also for you! :salta: :salta: :salta:

;-)
